Lauren is a Coloradoan who started fishing the Red Feather Lakes at a young age and started tying at the age of 9.  She joined a TU kids class sponsored by the Laughing Grizzly Fly Shop in Longmont, CO and a year later demonstrated at the same class.  She has tied at the Denver Fly Fishing Show, the ISE, West Denver TU, St Vrain TU and at Scheels all using her Peak Vise.  She has helped with a Project Healing Waters outing for several years in Red Feather Lakes and been lucky enough to fish around Sanibel Island, Florida, Punta Mita Mexico and the Spruce Creek in Pennsylvania catching striped marlin, snook, trout, cobia, jacks, dorado and more. She has also had luck with her patterns during numerous ice fishing trips.  She likes to tie with a lot of color and tweaks a lot of patterns to make them her own.  In addition to being a Peak Pro Team Member she is also on the Dr. Slick Pro Team. When not fishing or fly tying, you will find her on the golf course where she is an accomplished, nationally ranked player.  She won the 2017 4A State Championship with Loveland High School and the 2018 JGAC Junior Match Play Championship and has played in many national events both individually and representing the state of Colorado.   You can check out some of her patterns and contact her at lehighflytying.weebly.com.
