Jake Ruthven is a Colorado Native that lives for every aspect of the outdoors. Whether it be fly fishing, duck hunting, hiking or anything else, Jake wouldn’t know what to do without the great outdoors. He began tying flies around the age of eight, and shortly after taught himself how to fly fish on his neighborhood bass pond. After some instruction from some of the top people in the industry, Jake began to take his tying and fishing to the next level and is now enjoying participating in various Expos and Shows, as well as guiding fly-fishing trips. His home water is the Poudre River in Fort Collins, where he learned the art of targeting trout. We welcome Jake to the Peak Team and we look forward to seeing where he will end up in the fly-fishing community.
