Mark has been tying flies and fly fishing for over 25 years.  He is currently the president of his local TU Chapter of Trout Unlimited Iron Furnace Chapter based in the Clarion area of Pennsylvania.  He is also the head instructor of the chapters fly tying classes that take place every February.  Mark also is a former US Youth Fly Fishing Team Assistant Coach.  From 2010 until 2015 he was a national level competitive fly fisherman with his biggest medal achievement being an individual silver metal and the Americas Cup International Fly Fishing Tournament in 2012, and a time winner of the Harman’s North Fork Invitational. Mark also is on the pro staff on Fly Rod Chronicles with Curtis Fleming where he is also does fly tying videos for their Youtube channel, and he has been featured on their nationally televised show.  Mark also is a founding member of TroutLegend and currently helps run their social media and Youtube channels.
