Mike Kruise is the co-owner of the Laughing Grizzly Fly Shop in Longmont, Colorado; northern Colorado’s most complete fly shop. Mike has fly fished all over the western US and Alaska and has extensive guiding experience on many Colorado waters as well as New Mexico’s San Juan River and the North Platte in Wyoming. He is an accomplished fly designer and tyer, with several of his patterns featured in recent fly-tying books. In addition, he is an expert rod builder who has completed several cane rods along with many graphite rods he has built and taught others to build.
